Whereas; the Government of West Bengal has granted recognition to the College as a Post Graduate Basic Training College with retrospective effect from 23.11.1990 by G.O. No. 57-Edn(CS)/5S-3/98 dated 21st January, 2003.
Whereas; the University of Calcutta has granted affiliation with effect from 1st July, 2003 as the B. Ed College, Sarisha by letter No.1059/UCAC/27/6/2003 dated 27th June, 2003. The University of Calcutta has included our in the list of the Government-aided Colleges as Serial No. 21. (Annexure – I)
Whereas; the Eastern Regional Committee (ERC), NCTE has granted recognition to the B.Ed. College, Sarisha for Academic Sessions 2003-2004 to 2005-2006 after Inspection of the College on 15.11.2006 and verifying the Affidavit dated 30.12.2003 attested by the Ld. Executive Magistrate, verifying the website launched on 26.10.2006, requisite papers and documents as per the Rule 7 (2) vide revised date on 19.9.2006 as per the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part -II -Section 3 – Sub, Section (1) Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of School Education & Literacy) New Delhi, the September 11, 2006, vide (i) Memo No. ERC/WB-SV/36/06/4877 dated December 8, 2006 and (ii) Memo No. ERC/WB-SV/36/06/4878 dated December 8, 2006.
Whereas; the University of Calcutta has notified being Notification No. CSR/67/07 dated 16/07/2007 states inter alia- b) “Candidates who have been admitted during the Session 2005-2006 but the Institutions from which they have appeared are yet to get N.C.T.E. recognition”.
Whereas; the Government of West Bengal has released grants-in-aid for salary of the Teaching and Non-teaching Staff by G.O. No. 408 (Sanc)/EH/N/CS/1C-324 (Part-II) dated 11.1.2011 and G.O. No. 231 (Sanc)/EH/N/CS/1C-324. (Part-II) dated 17.10.2011. (Annexure – II)
